Crush vs Yokozuna Raw 93

http://rapidshare.com/files/472541/Crush_vs_Yokozuna.wmv

Not that good a match. But it picks up at the end and a really good angle.

As a bonus an awesome Headshrinkers squash starring a young Justin Credible.

Goldust vs Val Venis Jugement Day 98

I slept on this match the first time I watched, but man it is really good. Easily the best match on this card. Dustin Rhodes had quite the hot streak during this period. A few months prior to this he had gotten out of shape and seemed blown up working a five minate match on Raw. But then he had a really good match with Val at Breakdown and this match.

Jeff Jarrett vs Sting Halloween Havoc 2000

http://rapidshare.de/files/36888806/Jeff_Jarrett_vs_Sting_Halloween_Havoc_2000.wmv

This is one of those matches I can't help enjoying. For those unfamilar with it. Its the match where Sting was attacked the ghost of Sting past. I think this kind of match is ok every once in a while. But the problem was it happened in 2000 WCW, where wacky crap happens all of the time. Not a good match, but a fun trainwreck.

A side order of squash

Big Bossman vs Hacksaw Duggun Royal Rumble 90

http://rapidshare.de/files/36180961/BossMan_vs_Hacksaw_Duggun.wmv

Seems this match is not getting many downloads. This is a really good brawl in the vein of the Kamala/Hacksaw match I posted a week or two ago. Its a really good brawl. I think its a little better than Duggun/Vader. Damned if old Hacksaw could not brawl when he wanted to.

Doug Furnas vs RVD August 1996

http://rapidshare.de/files/36063901/RVD_vs_Doug_Furnas_August_96.wmv

Shit but do I love Doug Furnas. He is great in this match, throwing around RVD like a ragdoll. While being a complete dickhead. Not to repeat myself but he was never the same in the WWF. Aside from his and Lafon's mauling of Owen Hart at the Final Four ppv, and their debut,he was never the same.

WCW matches I uploaded.

http://rapidshare.de/files/35941754/Public_Enemy_vs_Steiners_Nitro_March_96.wmv

I posted this at DVDVR.

I downloaded a bunch of Nitros recently, after seeing the kickass Steiners/Road Warriors match. The following week had two more good tag matches with the Road Warriors beating the Nasty Boys in a really good (I shit you not.) brawl. Those guys just beat the piss out of each other. With Hawk knocking Jerry Sags silly with a knife edge chop to the jaw. The only strange thing was the Road Warriors cheating to win after hitting a Nasty with a spiked arm pad.

What happened to the Road Warriors in the nine months between they're leaving WCW and joining the WWF? They were shells of their former selves. Seeming more like a Road Warriors ripoff team than the Road Warriors.

Also on the show was another good match between Public Enemy. and the Steiners. Th P.E had no problem letting the Steiners beat the hell out of them, while Rocco flew all over the ring. Finish came when Rocco missed a suicide senton from the ring to the floor thru a table.

On the April 1st Nitro their was a triangle match with Road Warriors vs the Nasty Boys vs the Steiners. They all picked up where they left off and beat the crap out of each other. The end came when Johnny Grunge came out dressed as Brian Knobbs and took the fall causing the Nasties to lose.

But man did the Public Enemy have bad timing jumping to WCW. Within a month both the Steiners and the Road Warriors both returned to the national wrestling scene. Its hard to believe a tag team roster was that loaded in America.

On the March 25th Nitro Ric Flair defended the WCW title against the Giant. For people who enjoyed the ECW title match from a few months back, they would love this. The Giant destroys Flair with ease, with Flair having to use every shortcut in the book to survive. The finish came when Giant chokeslammed Flair and Arn Anderson hit him with a chair. Kevin Sullivan comes in and takes the chair from Arn before the Giant can turn around. The Giant procedes to chokeslam everyone in sight before leaving, causing a no contest. This was far better than the match where Giant won the title a month later. Kevin Sullivan is the only booker who ever used Big Show correctly. Even if it only served to put Hulk Hogan over as the only person in WCW who mattered after he no sells a chokeslam.

Mable vs Ken Shamrock

Its little secret im a big fan of Mable/Viscera. I think the guy is really underrated. He has really nice power moves, and is good at playing monster heel. Here is a match he had with Ken Shamrock in 98.

http://rapidshare.de/files/35663685/Mable_vs_Ken_Shamrock.avi

Vader vs Bradshaw July 98

Hell of a two minate match. But ends in a Kane and Mankind run in.

Vader vs Barry Windham

http://rapidshare.de/files/34691184/Vader_vs_Barry_Windham.avi

A few things I've noticed about Vader matches in 1998 WWF

1. Vader was really over. Getting large pops for his entrances, and having the fans rally behind him when heels were on offense.

2. He was still good, but stuck in three minate matches.

I think the WWF did not realise what a good thing they had in Vader. This match is a personal dream match for me since it involves my two all time favorites. Decent enough three minate match, they could have had a good ten minate match. But this is 1998 WWF.

Vader vs the Rock Raw June of 98

http://rapidshare.de/files/34220314/Vader_vs_Rock_61598.wmv

These two actually have good chemistry together and this is a nice tv match. Though as with all WWF tv matches from this era,it gets fucking old hearing Ross bitch about Vader being out of shape or some shit.

Taz vs Tommy Dreamer 9.03.96

http://rapidshare.de/files/34216988/Taz_vs_Tommy_Dreamer.09.03.96..avi

Really cool match from ECW tv. Match starts with Taz coming to the ring announcing this was going to be a scientific mat wrestling match. So of course Taz throws Dreamer to the floor throwing him into the guardrail and pummeling him. The match gets back into the ring, and Tommy gains control using earlu 80's fired up jobber offense. Taz takes control destroying Tommy with suplexes. Everytime Dreamer is on the verge of a comeback, Taz stops him with some type of suplex. Match ends in a no contest as Taz destroys the referee with a t bone after the ref takes a chair away from him. Taz chokes out Dreamer anyway.

Fonzie decides to attack Beulah with a chair, but is stopped by Terry Gordy. But Gordy is beat down by the Eliminator and Brian Lee, Then various jobbers and mid carders attempt to save Gordy and Dreamer but our beat down by the heels.

Vader vs Kintaro Kanemaru WEW

http://rapidshare.de/files/28942444/Big_Van_Vader_vs._Kintaro_Kanemura.avi.html

Probaly Vader's last really good match. Really cool match up with the guy who dishes out the worst beatings vs the guy who can take the most punishment. Te match is basically all Vader, til Kanemaru makes the comeback hitting Vader in the balls several times. He then makes the key mistake of using a table as a weapon.

Little wrestler dude.I know its tempting to try to use a table on big fat wrestler dude. But most likely big fat wrestler dude is just going to chokeslam you thru the table.

Which is what happened to Kanemaru.

Personally I think Vader still has it in him to have good match provided he doesnt have to carry someone or bump too much.

King Kong Bundy vs Andre the Giant

http://rapidshare.de/files/28952441/King_Kong_Bundy_vs_Andre_the_Giant.wmv.html

This is a 1985 match that recently aired on MSG classics. Bundy is crazy here taking a huge bump from he ring to the cement on his tailbone. Andre then takes Bundy to the mat putting him in a keylock I think. Finish coms with a Big John Studd run in.

I'll say it right now, I think Bundy is the best 400 plus pound bumper I have ever seen. The guy would bump around like Shawn Micheals. By the nineties (well honestly late 80's) he was a shadow of his former self.

Here is the Trickshot storyarc from the first five issues of Solo Avengers in one file. Its nothing Earth shattering just a nice little adventure story that adds to Hawkeye's background.

http://rapidshare.de/files/16721390/Nashville_World_Order_vs_Filthy_Animals_Bunkh.wmv.html

This is a really fun garbage match, even if it does get goofy with them going to a tag format halfway thru. Also it should be a felony to let Tigress (or Mark Madden) be near a microphone.

Dustin Rhodes vs Rick Steiner Superbrawl Revenge

http://rapidshare.de/files/15757251/Rick_Steiner_vs_Dustin_Rhodes.wmv.html

This is a really good match. Rick comes in planning to half ass another match, but Dustin forces him to put in an effort. Rick is a good heel when he feels like it and the audience is highly into all of Dustins comebacks. I really want to see some of Dustin's tv matches with Jarrett.

Midnight Express vs the Fantastics Great American Bash 1988

http://rapidshare.de/files/15292507/Midnight_Express_vs_the_Fantastics_GBA_88.wmv.html

This is not as good as the Midnights best stuff, but still really good. I definately understand the Tommy Rogers love, because he was the Fantastics. Bobby Fulton really really sucks. Jim Cornette was great going into the cage. Because while he was comical crying about going into the cage, he was also sympathetic. Ross and Schivonie actually feeling bad for him was a nice touch. Also a nice touch was miking sure to mention the Maryland state athletic commision several times. I think Dusty used this match to plant the Midnights face turn.

But a really good match overall.

Goldust vs Trevor Murdoch 2

http://rapidshare.de/files/14191651/2.26.06Trevor_Murdoch_vs._Goldust.avi.html

Boy that rematch was a let down.

Trevor came to the ring wearing a thick Stan Hansen type elbow pad. He explained to the sudience that he did not leave last week because he was scared or Goldust. It was because he had something in his eye. Trevor ambushes Goldust. The match is a pretty much a brawl. Trevor hits a really nice looking flying bodypress.

The finish came when Trevor Murdoch hit a pinning backdrop suplex, but Goldust lifted his shoulder before the three getting the win. Trevor hit Goldust with a lariat after the match. So match three will probaly be on next week's Heat or on Raw.

This was not nearly as good as last weeks, but it was decent.

Goldust vs Trevor Murdoch

http://rapidshare.de/files/13610390/4_-_Trevor_Murdoch_vs._Goldust.avi.html

Ever since Goldust returned, this has been the match I've been waiting for.

Its starts out with an insecure Trevor Murdoch getting all up in Dustin's grill. Laying the trash talk on him, telling him he is never going to hit him with shattered dreams. He then slaps him.

At this point I feel the need to mention that Todd Grisham is the worst commentator in wrestling. He gets on to Coach for talking about the match, and not talking about how crazy Mickie James is.

Anyway back to the match. Dustin out wrestles Murdoch for the first part of the match. Until Murdoch throws him out of the ring. He really lays it into Dustin.

Dustin finally regains control hitting a nice powerslam then doing the ten count punch (finishing it with the bionic elbow). He prepares to do the shattered dreams, but being the showman he is, Dustin takes too long, and Trevor sneaks out of the ring. He decides to take the loss by countout.

This is great since this means they could have a rematch on Raw.

Another thing to note is, that Goldust was over, and had the crowd into the match.

Alex Wright/Steven Regal from the 5.26.96

Regal was his normal fantastic self. He was great at controlling every aspect of the match. One part where Regal goes into the ropes for a break. Instead of just doing a break, Regal kicks Wright in the head.

Wright is incredibly green here. When he is on offense he is just clueless. Going for irish whips, but not knowing what to follow thru with. Regal won the match after turning an attempted monkey flip into a roll up.

But the great part was the promo he cut. Calling Wright "Little Adolph". Then calling the Giant "A refugee from Barnum and Bailey."

Vader vs Bret Hart 1/6/97

Im only posting this for people who are Vader fans. For whatever reason these two never had a good match. They were both content to mail it in. They did the throw VAder into the steps spot a minate in. Thats a clear sigh Vader is not in the mood to try.

Maybe they would have produced something better on PPV.

http://rapidshare.de/files/12144541/Dr_Strange___Dr_Doom_-_Triumph___Torment.cbr.html

This is the 1988 graphic novel written by Roger Stern and drawn by Mike Mignola. It goes without saying, but it is great.

Avengers Under Siege

This is the classic story where the Masters of Evil destroyed Avengers Mansion. This is the height of Roger Sterns Avengers run. If there is interest I will post the sequal Battlefield Olympus.
