Sabu & RVD vs Yoshinari Ogawa & Kintaro Shiga AJPW 5/13/1997

This match is from I'm guessing All Japan and is a perfect Sabu and RVD match. They hit everything clean. Cool train wreck spots. Never seen Shiga work before but he is pretty good and I've always (since first seeing him) thought Ogawa was underrated. They hit some nice looking offense on RVD. Shiga spiked him with a tornado DDT. Then Shiga and Ogawa hit a sweet double Slingshot Suplex.

The finishing sequence is great and I can't believe they never used it in ECW.

Qubecers Debut

The Quebecers WWF Debut by TSteck160

This is a great debut. Jacques and Pierre hit some brutal double teams. Even doing the old Rougeau Brothers Cannonball. Also a nasty looking STO.

Terry Daniels still turned up in the WWF from time to time after his run as Sgt.Slaughter's protege. Here he is facing the Widowmaker Barry Windham. Not a lot to it beyond being a good TV match with Daniels getting just enough offense. He hits a nice standing dropkick right next to Barry. I was impressed with how he extended his legs in mid air.

Odd hearing Tony Schiavonie act like he has never really seen Barry Windham before. Match ends up on the floor and Barry sits him on the top turnbuckle from the ring apron. Which I have never seen before. One superplex later and its over.

Jerry Lawler vs Kane

I remember reading about this in the Wrestler. Great video package and fantastic promo from Cornette.

Sabu and Rob Van Dam vs Too Cold Scorpio and the Sandman

This a match from the tail end of the seemingly never ending Sabu/Sandman feud. Sandman brought in his former tag team championship partner Too Cold Scorpio for back up.

Match starts off at a fast pace and never lets up. Scorp Dog and RVD have great chemistry and brawl around ringside. Sabu and Sandman pick up where they left off. Sabu ends up crashing to the floor on an attempted dive. Gets back in and takes an even nastier hit putting Sandman thru the table.

Hey its the very seldom seen Sabu/RVD Total Elimination executed pretty poorly. Scorp saves Sandman after the Arabian Facebuster but the Atomic Arabian Facebuster ends it.
