3. Tiger Mask IV vs Great Sasuke December 27 1997

Before I start this is the worst fucking audience I have ever seen at a ECW show. Let that soak in.

Great Sasuke after Barely Legal and his WWF run never happened, had another stint in ECW. eE feuded with Justin Credible. Now personally that seemed like a waste. I would of rather seen Sasuke mix it up with Sabu or RVD or TaZ. But in this run he brought Tiger Mask IV with him. They wrestled on a few house shows.That is just how ECW did things. We have these foriegn guys who could really get over. Lets just put em against each other.

So this audience basically shits over everything they do in the first half because they are

1. Foreign.

2. Not on tv.

3. Wear mask.

Fuck these people. It is like bizarro ROH. Where Japanese guy is hated for no reason.

First half of the match is your basic stuff. Sasuke and Mask trading kicks before trying to take eachother down on the mat. Anytime a wrestling hold is tried somebody yells boring.

Sasuke has a camel clutch on Tiger mask IV who slips out an reverses it.

Mask gets him up and they start a sequence of reversals with Mask winning with a spin kick. Mask hits SAsuke with a unique looking shoulderblock. Almost a running moonsault.

But Mask puts him back on the mat with a chinlock into a headscossors. And the apes are still chanting. They sure do spend a lot of time thinking about sucking dick.

Mask pulls Sasuke to the center of the ring. Nice part where Sauke puts Mask in a leglock to and they start slapping eachother. THis actually gets the crowd excited very briefly. Big headbutt by Mask and I enjoy Sasukes painful yelp. Tiger MAsk puts Asuke in a half crab Lion Tamer. Turns it into a full boston crab but Sasuke pulls himself to the ropes. Sasuke fights his way up with kicks.

Irish whip into the corner and Sasuke misses a charge and Mask wins the next kick exchange. Sasuke retreats to the floor and Tiger Mask hits a suicide dive on asuke. which looked painful since the guardrail did not budge. Back in the ring and Mask hits the flying hadbutt for two. Followed by a greatlooking German suplex into a bridge. Followed by a flipping leg submission doodad.

Sasuke makes the ropes and hit a cartwhel flying elbow. Mask hits the floor and gets hit by a big Sasuke dive. Which wips them both out.

This brings out Justin Credible and Jason "The World's Sexiest Man". Justin taunts Sasuke who takes out Jason with a pescado.

Tiger Mask IV is back in the ring and auke hit a standing second rope moonsault on Mask for two. Tiger Mask manages to avoid the powerbomb once but gets caught with a spinning kick and this time the powerbomb finishes him.

Thi was actually a pretty good match once you manage to tune out the shithead audience. They had a match in Queens the same week which im sure is much better.
